GenWeb and Online Data

  • DCGS maintains the DuPage County ILGenWeb site and makes data available on-line or in publications.

Research Policy

DCGS members may submit yearly one or two concise questions to the Corresponding Secretary at requests@dcgs.orgat no charge. Non-members are asked to donate $10 to the Society for research on brief questions.

Researchers

The following people have volunteered their names to do research for a fee. They are members of the DuPage County Genealogical Society but are not endorsed by the Society. It should be clearly understood that this list is provided as a service for your convenience. No guarantee of the quality of the work is made or implied.

Arrangements must be made directly with the researcher, and any agreement entered into is a personal contract between two private parties and does not include the DuPage County Genealogical Society.

Library Helpers

Volunteer staffing of Genealogy Department at the Wheaton Public Library every Thursday of the month from 7:00-9:00 PM.

Education

DCGS and Wheaton Public Library provide basic genealogy classes/lectures each spring and fall. DCGS sponsors an annual conference with national speakers.
